Humber Community Employment Services provide a full range of employment and training services for job seekers supporting them to achieve their employment goals. Through 5 locations they offer job seekers free information and resource services, workshops, individual employment assistance and access to training and jobs. These Employment Ontario services are funded in part by the federal government of Canada.

Humber College Community Employment Services (HCCES) job seeker services are part of Humber's commitment to support our communities.

Humber CES offers job seekers:

  • a fully equipped resource and information area open to all, providing access to computers, fax, printers, telephones and a library of online and in print resources to support your career and employment goals
  • training information and assistance with Second Career Applications
  • Job Boards with employers’ job postings and Job Fairs
  • workshops on job search topics such as resume, interview skills, the labour market, contacting employers
  • resume critique and practice interviews
  • mentorship opportunities for skilled newcomers with professionals in the same occupation
  • information on and referral to programs and services available through us and in the community
  • individual employment planning, advising, and follow-up to meet your employment goals
  • negotiating and developing jobs with employers
  • support post job placement, if required
