1. Confirm your Attendance
Congratulations on reaching this point in your academic journey!
Graduation starts with a formal application to attend. Every graudate invited to the Fall 2017 convocation will receive an email in October to complete their registration using the application form on MyHumber. Please view our Frequently Asked Questions and Contact Us page for more information.
For graduates who need to leave the ceremony early or were not able to attend, their credential will be mailed 4-6 weeks after the ceremony.
2. Update your Personal Information
Review your official name, email and mailing address on MyHumber. Update your email and mailing address to receive important communication. For changes to your official name, please contact the Registrar's Office.
3. Review your Student Account Balance
Review your Account Detail and clear outstanding debts. Your credential will be withheld if you have outstanding fees.
4. Find your Ceremony
View the schedule to locate the date and time of your graduation ceremony.
5. Prepare for Convocation
Find out what to expect at your ceremony, from when to arrive to the significance of the Procession to how to cross the stage.
6. Prepare your Family & Guests
Share the details with your family & friends who will be joining you at your graduation so they can plan their day, from how and when to arrive to what to do after the ceremony to continue the celebrations.
For friends and family who cannot join you, all Humber graduation ceremonies are broadcast live online. The live webcast will be available 15 minutes prior to the start of each ceremony.
7. Portrait Photography
STUDIO NOSTALGIA will be available prior to the Convocation. Sessions prior to Convocation are only available by appointment. Portrait photos can also be taken at Convocation. Sittings are on a first come, first served basis one hour prior to each ceremony and after the ceremony. The proofs are viewed and available for purchase online within 48 hours. Please bring $10.00 for a cash deposit, which will be credited towards the purchase of a package.
The bookstore offers rings, graduation frames and other memorabilla for sale on site. Humber bookstore staff will be on hand at Convocation to insert your new credential into the frame you purchase.
9. Arrange Special Needs Requirements
The facility is wheelchair accessible. If you are using a wheelchair, or have any other special needs, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the ceremony so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
10. On Stage Photography
Grad Images will take on stage photography during each ceremony.
11. Celebrate your Graduation Day!
Following your ceremony, join your fellow graduates and guests to Convocation Hall. Light refreshments will be served.
12. Alumni Services
As an official graduate of Humber College, you join a group of over 200,000 amazing Humber alumni. Shortly after convocation, you will be mailed an alumni package including your official alumni card. With this card you gain access to a variety of perks and benefits exclusive to Humber grads.
