This course will provide students with experience in maintaining computerized accounting records, using the premium version of the Sage 50 Accounting software (formerly known as Simply Accounting software) and QuickBooks software. Accounting principles, concepts and processes are applied to practical situations. Students will record computerized transactions and produce related financial reports in the appropriate software modules. They will interpret financial statements and make decisions concerning required adjustments to the financial statements. In addition, the students will develop skills in Microsoft Excel.
