Program Features:

  • Earn a Humber Certificate of Completion
  • Earn four micro-credential badges in:
    • EV Fundamentals
    • EV Battery Fundamentals & Safety
    • Service Excellence for the EV Industry
    • EV Learning Lab
  • 2 weeks of self-paced online learning, plus 1 week of hands-on lab training
  • Test drive EVs in our Learning Lab (valid driver’s licence required)
  • Fully funded for eligible learners

Career Support Includes:

  • Access to job search and planning tools for over 12 months
  • Personalized career counselling and assessments
  • Data-driven insights and local labour market information

Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • Learners must reside in Ontario and have legal authorization to work in Canada

EV Learning Lab Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
  • Have basic familiarity with cars
  • Be able to participate in an in-person, cohort-based learning environment
  • Instruction takes place in both the classroom and the EV service bay (approximately 20 metres apart). Learners will need to transition between these spaces to participate. Accommodations are available upon request
  • Successful completion of the prerequisite micro-credentials: MCIM 101, MCIM 102, and MCIM 103
