University Transfer Profile (Semester 2, 3, 4)

If your goal is university or Humber degree studies then the University Transfer Program is the right choice for you.

Your studies will focus on academic subjects in literature, philosophy, humanities and social sciences as well as courses in composition and critical thinking so that you are prepared for success in a wide variety of academic disciplines. If you complete the second year of General Arts and Science, you will deepen your knowledge and maximize your university choices.
Transfer Opportunities
Students who successfully complete all 10 courses in the University Transfer Profile Certificate may receive transfer credits. For example:
York University: Grads with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 may receive up to 15 transfer credits ( 2.5 full university courses).
Bishops University: Grads with a minimum average of 70% will be admitted to a 4 year program and receive 30 credit hours.
Students who choose to remain for the second year (2 semesters, 10 courses) will receive a Ministry diploma that is recognized for admission by Ontario Universities and many other Canadian Universities.

Admission Requirements
Successful completion of all courses in the College and University Transfer first semester. Successful completion of COMM 200.
Students who complete the second semester of the College Transfer stream may join University Transfer third and fourth semesters after completing GASA Y15:Advanced Composition and GASA H15: Introduction to Philosophy.
