The Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning (hereafter referred to as “Humber” or “the College”) upholds the highest standards of ethical behaviour in all of its educational and commercial dealings and forbids the corruption of government officials.
The policy applies to all Humber employees and outside parties acting on behalf of Humber in foreign jurisdictions, including agents, consultants, representatives, distributors, teaming partners and joint venture partners.
1. No person representing Humber shall attempt to corrupt a government official or any other functionary by means of giving something of value, including money in any form to obtain an improper benefit.
2. Bribes or kickbacks in all transactions are forbidden, regardless of whether any government officials are involved.
3. Humber maintains a system of financial and accounting procedures, including internal accounting controls to ensure the maintenance of fair and accurate books, records and accounts.
