Anne's professional humour/comedy writing experience includes TV, film, radio, and print journalism. Her writing career began as a satirical song and sketch comedy writer/performer for CBC Radio, after which she landed a job as staff sitcom writer for the Television Corporation of Singapore (yes, in English). A graduate of the University of Toronto and the Canadian Film Centre (CFC), Anne has written and story edited many TV series, MOWs, short and feature films, including two original sitcoms developed at CBC and CTV, and has several comedy series and feature films in development. Currently the Development Executive for Amaze Film + TV, Anne also worked for two years as a development executive at CTV, taught sitcom writing at the Toronto Film College, and continues to work as a story editor with the CFC. A long-time participant in Second City improv classes, Anne’s diverse resume also includes comic performances for film and TV.
