The Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub will serve as a one-stop source of knowledge, data and best practices for women entrepreneurs. The Government of Canada will provide either one eligible organization or a consortium of eligible organizations up to $8.62 million over three years to establish this Hub.
As part of this role, the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub will deliver a number of activities intended to support the advancement of women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds throughout the innovation ecosystem. These activities include:
- A report on the progress of women entrepreneurs in Canada, including a measure or review of the entrepreneurship ecosystem supports for women in Canada
- Collecting, analyzing, and disseminating information, and/or advancing research on women's entrepreneurship
- Supporting and sharing best practices and knowledge among women business support organizations
The Government of Canada is now inviting eligible organizations – or groups of eligible organizations – to submit their innovative proposals for creating a Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub under the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy.
