The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre is pleased to invite you to the launch of a deeply evocative collection of painted dreams by Susan Schellenberg. A former nurse, wife, mother of five, and patient at the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital, Susan explored her mental illness through the life history revealed within her dreams. This exhibit examines how the act of painting helped Susan to move through suppressed traumas and pain towards a path of healing and recovery.
