Energy Advisors (EAs) work with service organizations to assess homes, providing advice to builders and home owners about how to improve energy performance during design, construction, and renovation. EAs audit and report on improvements once they have been made, allowing clients to be eligible for government rebates on the work performed.

In order to become an authorized Energy Advisor and deliver services under the current EnerGuide Rating System (ERS v.15), candidates must first pass National Resource Canada's (NRCan) Foundation Level Exam, followed by the Energy Advisor exam, with affiliation from a service organization.

Humber College's new Energy Advisor Bootcamp is specifically designed to help you prepare for the NRCan Foundation Level Exam, with intensive training sessions that tackle the most challenging aspects of the exam. The program is delivered by qualified Humber instructors and experienced Energy Advisors: experts in their field who value your success.
