Toronto, Ontario – November 29, 2017 – Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning invites you to join police officers from across Ontario for the launch of the 2017/2018 holiday Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) CHECKS program – a campaign to emphasize the importance of not driving impaired.
A short documentary film, "Consequence Strains," is being launched at the event. It was created by R.I.D.E. CHECKS, in partnership with licensed medical cannabis producer Beleave Inc., and BBDO Toronto, to showcase the consequences of driving high. More information is available at ConsequenceStrains.com. Downloadable images and viewable files are available at: https://tinyurl.com/y75tdr4z
R.I.D.E. CHECKS and Rewards supports the efforts of police services in the Greater Toronto Area by giving them booklets to make available to citizens, either at roadside spot checks or for pick up at their nearest police facility. The R.I.D.E. CHECKS Rewards Booklet details the penalties associated with drinking and driving and includes money-saving coupons. For more information on R.I.D.E. CHECKS and R.I.D.E.
