Toronto, Ontario - Humber College’s Canadian Centre of Culinary Arts and Science welcomes the semi-finals of the WorldChefs Global Chefs Challenge on May 25 and 26, 2019. Humber is the first Canadian college to ever host the competition. The winning participants will go on to compete at the Global Chef Challenge Finals during the 2020 Worldchefs Congress in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Global Chefs Challenge – Americas Regional Semi-Final consists of three categories: Global Chefs, Global Pastry Chefs and Global Young Chefs. Sixteen competitors from Canada, the United States, Mexico and Bolivia will compete across all categories at Humber’s professional-level bake labs, multifunction culinary lab, induction cooking labs and teaching kitchens.
