Toronto, Ontario – Humber College has partnered with iconic motorcycle brand Harley-Davidson Canada to offer the college’s well-known motorcycle training program exclusively on Harley-Davidson motorcycles by January 2020. Harley-Davidson motorcycles currently make up 50 per cent of Humber’s training fleet.
“We are excited to partner with Harley-Davidson Canada to offer our students a truly unique experience in motorcycle rider training,” says Andy Hertel, program manager of motorcycle rider training at Humber. “Our riders will learn on Harley-Davidson Street® 500 cc bikes, which are perfectly suited to real-life street riding. Humber has been synonymous with rider training for decades and Harley-Davidson is celebrating its 100th year in Canada this year. Our students will be delighted with their Harley-Davidson experience.”
The Harley-Davidson Street® 500 cc motorcycles are designed for the urban motorcycle rider. From its superior handling to navigate tight corners, to the dark styling details like blacked out pipes to a starting price of $7,999 CAD, this motorcycle gives city riders the Harley-Davidson experience. In addition to the opportunity to train on Harley-Davidson motorcycles, students will also receive promotional offers, discounts and rebate opportunities, and insurance incentives.
“We are thrilled to partner with Humber to help new riders enter the sport,” says Ignacio ‘Inaki’ Isusi, Harley-Davidson Canada Managing Director. “We believe that the future of Harley-Davidson is in these new riders and we are so proud to help them get started on their journey on the open road.”
