Meaghan Strimas

For Yes or Nope, her third collection of poems, Meaghan Strimas is the winner of this year's Trillium Book Award in the poetry category.

Strimas is a professor in Humber College's English department and the editor of Humber Literary Review.

Her previous published collections include Junkman's Daughter and A Good Time Had by All.

Now in its 30th year, past Trillium winners include Margaret Atwood, Michael Ondaatje, Alice Munro and Timothy Findley. The award is an annual prize sponsored by the provincial government.
