If you are passionate about helping others and have a background in health care or social and community services, our Systems Navigator program could be your next great career move.
The two-semester graduate certificate program, which begins this September, will prepare you to work in an emerging profession helping individuals manage their care within the medical and social services fields. As a systems navigator, you’d be the individual’s advocate and guide.
System navigators act as a resource for everyone from those with Alzheimer’s disease or in need of long-term care to people with mental health or substance abuse issues.
Courses in motivational interviewing, professional conduct, professional self-care and ethical practice provide the skills needed to succeed in this emerging field. A 240-hour work placement in the final semester will match each student’s specialization and career goals.
Applications are now being accepted.
