Paying for her first year’s tuition just got a little easier.
Stacey Solomon, an incoming student to the Bachelor of Criminal Justice program, is this year’s winner of the Humber College $5,000 tuition contest.
“I’m still in shock, to be honest,” Solomon said. “I almost never win anything.”
Solomon, who wants to be a police officer, started her Humber journey last year with the dual credit program. She took a course in criminal justice, which gave her both a college and secondary school credit.
“I want to be a police officer because it’s a good way to help the community,” said Solomon.
Starting next month, those beginning their studies at Humber in 2019/20 can enter for their chance to win the $5,000 prize. Visit www.humber.ca/win/ for more information.
