The Humber community came together to stand up to all forms of sexual violence. Take Back the Night is a movement started by women who had experienced sexual assault. This is the second year Humber's LGBTQ+ Resource Centre has hosted the march at North Campus.

Humber grads Theo Willert and Avery Bird are traveling to Abu Dhabi to represent Canada at WorldSkills 2017. The pair graduated from the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program in 2016. WorldSkills is the largest vocational skills competition in the world.

Finally, Humber hosted a reception for first decade alumni and staff. Graduates from 1967-1977 shared stories and toured the updated Lakeshore campus. The event was part of Humber’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
