So you’re new to Humber’s North Campus and finding it a bit overwhelming. Take a deep breath, because it will get easier.

Here’s a list of the services and facilities we have on campus, and where to find them:

Whether it’s vaccinations, counselling or sexual health support, these services are available to all Humber students.

This is where you’ll go if you have questions about registration, admissions, your MyHumber account or any other academic inquires.

Accessible Learning Services facilitates equal access for students with disabilities by coordinating academic accommodations and services.

The Department of Public Safety is the contact for parking, lockers, Campus Walk, lost and found, the Humber Guardian app or in times of emergency.

Aboriginal Resource Centre

Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Aboriginal Resource Centre helps students adjust to college life, while creating an awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal culture and history in the greater campus community.

This is the place to go if you’re having technical issues, forgot your password, the internet on campus is down or a printer isn’t working. The centre offers help in-person, online and over the phone.

As long as you’re enrolled in classes, you can use the gym and take fitness classes for free.

If you’re overdue for a cleaning or have a toothache, get it checked out between classes at Campus Dental, our on-site dental office. They take insurance, so make sure to have your group insurance number and student number on hand.

Prayer Room/Multi-Faith Centre

This space is intended to be used for quiet prayer and reflection and medium sized gatherings. Look for the signs that say “Multi-Faith Centre.”

LGBTQ+ Resource Centre

LGBTQ centre
The LGBTQ+ Resource Centre works to promote safer, braver, positive spaces at Humber. The dedicated space allows people to connect, access resources and build community. 

Peer Tutoring
Third floor, Learning Resource Commons

Peer tutors are available for free (up to three hours a week) for traditional classroom courses, independent study and distance education courses. Tutoring sessions take place on campus. This year, tutors will be assigned starting September 18.

Math Centre

A drop-in centre offering free math help to all Humber and Guelph-Humber full-time and part-time students. No appointment is required. The Math Centre can help with all levels of mathematics courses, and even courses such as physics, nursing, coding and chemistry.

Writing Centre

Whether you want to work on your thesis development, essay structure, research skills, or points of grammar, centre staff offer personalized instruction. Get help starting writing assignments, learn how to structure them, and also get tips on reviewing graded assignments.

Fourth floor, Learning Resource Commons

Check out books, reserve a room for group study or projects and get research help from our librarians. You can even borrow a laptop for a few hours.


Because an empty stomach makes it tough to pay attention in class! There’s Subway, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, freshly made sandwiches and salads, Teriyaki Experience, Booster Juice and more. Also check out Gourmet Express to sample what our culinary students cook up each week.

Pulled an all-nighter and now you’re desperately in need of a nap? Visit the IGNITE sleep lounge to catch up on your sleep. No appointments needed, just bring your student ID.

Humber Arboretum


Another way to get refreshed is by getting outside. With gorgeous gardens, a pond and walking trails, the 250-acre arboretum is a favourite spot for walks, lunch breaks and reading.

Printing Services

There are several places on campus to get things printed. The Xerox Print Centre (H106) is one. Or do it yourself in the library or the Learning Resource Commons on the third floor, which is open 24/7. Colour printing can be done either in H205 or N205. Students automatically receive 2,500 print credits per semester. Printing one black-and-white page costs five credits. You will need your student ID to access these services.
