Students at Lakeshore Campus

We hope you enjoyed your summer vacation and are ready for your year ahead.

To help you navigate your way around campus and have a successful start, we have created the ultimate back-to-school checklist to help you get organized. Here are a few things to remember and to do before September 3:

1. Have your Photo ID handy

Photo ID cards give students access to the gym, library, and other on-campus resources. They are issued to full-time students who have paid their tuition deposits and have registered for their courses. You can request your ID card on MyHumber.

2. Get yourself a locker

Need somewhere to store your belongings during class time? Reserve a locker through MyHumber.

3. A parking pass will save you time and money

If you drive to campus and have yet to purchase a parking pass for Carrier Drive or Lakeshore Campus, permits are still available at select parking locations on campus. See our website for details.

4. Finalize/review your schedule

One of the most exciting moments as a student is when you finally get your class timetable. You receive your timetable after registering for classes at MyHumber and after you have paid your tuition deposit. Note: The last day to add a course to your schedule is September 9.

5. Pay your dues

The balance of fall fees are due September 16. Also, the last day to drop a course for a refund is on September 16. Consider setting a reminder in your calendar and review the academic calendar for more important dates.

6. Stay connected

For news and events, follow Humber on social media for the latest news and campus events.

7. Find your way around campus easier

Nervous about navigating North Campus in September? Don’t be. Download the wayfinding app Campus Compass to find all your classes, places to eat and your new friends. Download with Google Play or the Apple App Store.
