Join us for interactive sessions and sample classes that will help your transition to Humber.



You will also have the opportunity to apply for transfer credits on the spot.

Please bring detailed course outlines from the year and institution you took the course, as well as a sealed transcript if it is not already on file at

Session 1: MyHumber
Learn the ins and outs of Humber’s student portal. From registration and tracking your academic progress using the “What If” function to plan your pathways.

Session 2: Blackboard Workshop
Participants will learn the key components of Humber’s learning management system.  We will walk you through how to access your online course site and tools.  Come out and join us to explore Blackboard!

Session 3: Library Resources
Tour the library facilities and get familiar with library resources and our digital collections. APA style guides and resources will also be reviewed.

Snacks/Lunch and Marketplace

Student Services Fair
We will also invite various departments who can provide resources and more information to support students with their transfer needs and Academic Schools to help transfer students develop an identity to their School.

Transfer Assessment
Students will also have the opportunity to meet with transfer advisors and academic staff for transfer credit assessments.
