Our foundation certificates allow you to gain and upgrade the skills you need to pursue further studies or get on track to launch your career. These programs will help you build a portfolio, develop and hone your skills, or take the next step in your career.
This program offers you a comprehensive foundation in the basics of current visual arts by exploration within a studio environment of different types of media through the creative process.
This program gives you the skills to put your creative flair and interest in visual arts into focus as you begin a career in design. Train in professional design with a diverse curriculum that features courses in interior, graphic, packaging and industrial design.
With small class sizes and expert instruction in design, writing and computer skills, this program is an excellent stepping stone to more specialized media career training.
We have programs that will prepare you to complete a diploma at college, a degree at Humber or another university, or prepare you to study health sciences or technology. Study in small classes and work with a dedicated academic advisor to help plan your future.
COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY TRANSFER (TWO OR FOUR SEMESTERS)
Find your passion while preparing for further study at college or university with a program incorporating arts, humanities, and courses that spark your interests and enhance your skills. After four semesters, you may gain advanced standing in degree programs at Humber and other institutions.
PRE-HEALTH SCIENCES PATHWAY TO ADVANCED DIPLOMAS AND DEGREES (TWO SEMESTERS)
This program provides you with the core science, mathematics and communication skills important for academic success in health sciences programs. You will learn to analyze situations from various perspectives to help develop a sense of personal and social responsibility as a citizen and allied health professional.
TECHNOLOGY (TWO SEMESTERS)
If you’re interested in a career in Technology, Trades, or Engineering, this program will help you build the skills and knowledge you will need. You’ll gain important foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in math, physics, chemistry, computer applications, and AutoCAD.
