The Human Resources Management certificate program is designed to assist those in human resources administration to expand or update their skills or to meet the needs of those seeking an opportunity to enter this field. The curriculum is designed to provide the educational foundation for a career in human resources management.

Professional Accreditation

Humber offers a fully accredited Human Resources Certificate program, recognized by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) as their coursework requirement. This program includes the nine courses required by HRPA as part of their coursework requirement to write the Comprehensive Knowledge Exam 1 (CKE1) towards CHRP designation.

HRPA requires that a Job Ready Program and an Employment Law exam must also be successfully completed. Detailed information can be found at hrpa.ca/hr-designations/about-hr-designations#DesignationRequirements.

More information about all three HRPA designations can be found at hrpa.ca/hr-designations/about-hr-designations.

Note: The requirements for the additional credential(s) are determined by the granting body, which is independent of the college. Students are encouraged to obtain the specific requirements directly from the granting body before enrolling.
