The Human Resources Management certificate program is designed to assist those in human resources administration to expand or update their skills or to meet the needs of those seeking an opportunity to enter this field. The curriculum is designed to provide the educational foundation for a career in human resources management. 

Professional Accreditation

Humber offers a fully accredited Human Resources Certificate program, recognized by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) as their coursework requirement. This program includes the nine courses required by HRPA as part of their coursework requirement to write Comprehensive Knowledge Exam 1 (CKE1) towards CHRP designation. As of Spring/Summer 2016, HRPA requires that a Job Ready Program and an Employment Law exam must also be successfully completed. Detailed information can be found at https://www.hrpa.ca/hr-designations/about-hr-designations#DesignationRequirements.

Note: The requirements for the additional credential(s) are determined by the granting body, which is independent from the College. Students are encouraged to obtain the specific requirements directly from the granting body before enrolling.

Courses

Current students, please make sure to review your MyHumber Academic Progress report to confirm which courses you should register into for your Fall semester. Courses with in-person requirements will likely also have online components. Humber may need to change plans for in-person learning, subject to government and public health directives and/or additional health and safety considerations.

How to Register

You are required to register for each individual course included in a CE program. You can register for a course by selecting it and following the instructions in the “How to Register” box.

Fees

Each CE program is comprised of a series of courses which may all have different fees. You are required to register for each course individually and pay the associated fees. Once you select the course, the fee is displayed in the “How to Register” box.
