Through our wide breadth of industry expertise within Humber College, we help to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. We include agile and flexible learning plans to suit our clients' unique needs, circumstances and context.

End-to-End Evaluation Strategy

Utilizing robust learning assessment and evaluation strategies we can track participant progress and performance. Our deliveries measure outcomes, effectiveness and ROI. We include work-integrated-learning, such as capstone projects in order to address real-world, complex problems

When you partner with CTS your organization has access to faculty and researchers with specialize expertise in various industries. Using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such as the Barrett Centre for technology and innovation, we can bring a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to your program. Additionally, we assist in finding unique funding opportunities to help support your training needs.

Wrap-Around Supports

Our programs include, at no additional cost, employment services and job placements. We provide support for education planning such as professional accreditation, language credential and prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR). We offer workforce-ready training such as digital literacy and fluency, English as a second language and occupational-specific language training etc. When our learning programs end, our relationship with your team continues.

Our Quality

Program Delivery and Operations

Our courses are centered around customized learning schedules that work for your team. We develop programs to ensure there are no gaps in the learning experience for participants. Programs include a variety of learning tools such as text-learning, capstone projects and coaching sessions. Class sizes are small to provide personalized engagement. We offer on-site, in-person learning along with virtual instructor-led training technically supported by virtual producers.


Our certified Humber associates and team have successfully completed rigorous evaluation and assessment processes. They are qualified and credentialed in their respective fields and bring a deep understanding of various industries to all training, coaching and consulting initiatives.

Digital Transformation

Peter Carr’s consulting and research work focusses on the application of technology for the benefit of business and society. With a background in manufacturing systems engineering, and a PhD in the implementation of lean operations in traditional environments
, he works with organizations to support their effective exploitation of new technologies. He is the creator and director of the University of Waterloo’s online certificate programs in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Social Media for Business Performance and Project Leadership.
His research includes the development of a research institute in supply chain collaboration, large scale surveys of information technology management and project management and the creation of an archive of 1,400 case studies in the whole enterprise use of social media. He has worked extensively with online learning technologies, including establishing the world’s first online executive MBA and on the application of information technology in humanitarian development. Peter lives in Toronto.

Project Management Suite of Courses

Brian Egan has 30 years of experience as a project manager, management consultant and entrepreneur. Brian has worked in the field of professional skills development, and in particular in project management training, for the past 20 years.

As a serial entrepreneur, Brian has started and operated a number of diverse businesses, from commercial-scale salmon farming to mobile catering, furniture manufacturing, giftware manufacturing and house construction.
Brian is the author of the textbook, Foundations of project Management, as wells as numerous training courses, webinars and white papers relating to management and professional skills development.
Brian lives on the west coast of British Columbia and works with clients throughout north and central America.

Lucy La Grassa has over 20 years of experience in the workplace and in the classroom. She has designed and delivered hundreds of courses in business communications, clear writing, two-minute briefings, issues management, writing
business cases, writing reports, stakeholder and public engagement, reputation management, media training and coaching, speechwriting and more. Lucy La Grassa is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) and a Marketing Certified Consultant.
She has a BA in Journalism, a double MA in Transformational Education and Organizational Development (Leadership) and a PhD in Leadership Ethics. She is a Chair for The Executive Committee (TEC Canada) working with CEOs to grow their businesses and grow as leaders. Lucy is a member of the Project Management Institute, Institute for Performance and Learning, International Association of Business Communicators, Canadian Public Relations Society and a former member of the Women Presidents’ Organization.
Lucy was a speech writer, public relations officer, communications advisor and Assistant Director of Communications in the Ontario government. She was part of the team recruited to launch the Ontario Women’s Directorate where she did qualitative and quantitative media analysis. Lucy was part of the award-winning “Break the Silence” campaign; the lead in the “Life is Precious” campaign; designed the “No Excuses” campaign to launch mandatory child support payments; “The Prism Awards” and The Kids Netword Training Program, to train children to become professional writers; “Our Sacred Trust” program, to source and train the next generation of Indigenous leaders; “The Victory Program,” commissioned by the Institute for the Prevention of Child Abuse as a communication tool for disclosure; and “The Deaf Illustrator Awards/The Deaf Literature Awards. Lucy co-founded zeeBigBang Corp., a web-based commercial hub for people and companies in arts and entertainment. She is the former president of Formidable Technologies Inc., where she helped companies transition to the efficiencies of leading-edge cloud computing technologies.

Carolynne Wintrip is a Senior Facilitator & Learning Consultant. Carolynne has extensive experience in learning solution design, performance consulting, team development, adult learning, change management, strategic planning
, and facilitation. Carolynne has worked in a variety of sectors including private, not-for-profit, education, government, and health care. She is a Certified Team Performance Coach through Team Coaching International and an Emergenetics® Certified Associate, Certified Personal Resilience Practitioner – Program Designer, Back-up Facilitator.
Her energy and passion for making a difference and helping others see and act on the possibilities for improvement impacts every project she touches.
As a collaborative, results-oriented team player, Carolynne has worked effectively with diverse groups at all levels of organizations, from the front-line to the Board. Key skills she brings to client organizations include:
• Analyzing client needs and developing effective solutions to improve performance and results; • Designing and delivering customized learning programs;
• Facilitating leadership, innovation, communication, customer service, and team development workshops;
