In this linked course, students will use the skills developed in "Ad Studio 1 for Accounts" to tackle increasingly sophisticated and challenging projects. Further techniques including archetypes, disruption, and psychological approaches will be introduced. Working in teams, students will gain the confidence they need to meet with a client and recommend creative ideas - especially the core idea that will drive an advertising campaign. Students will further develop their skills as they gain insight into the creative process and into the lives of the creative people that they will work with in the advertising careers. Together with other students from the Advertising Art Direction and Advertising Copywriting programs they will work in simulations to create advertising strategies and campaigns. Together students will prepare client level presentations that reflect and advance their skills as strategic and creative thinkers.
