This advanced course prepares students to apply critical knowledge in addictions and mental health. The object is to understand and apply scholarly inquiry by linking theoretical perspectives to solve related addictions and mental health problems as scholar-practitioners. This seminar-based course focuses on investigating scholarly knowledge to guide professional practice, ranging from clinical competencies to policy development. The course will prepare students for their major research project by developing a project proposal and literature review of their chosen topic.
