Dance Fundamentals course will introduce the students to contemporary notions of Dance Technique as currently practiced in Canada and internationally. The students will learn basic physical, aesthetic and cultural practices of a range of dance techniques to establish a foundation for further dance training. Th course will provide students with resources to meet dance performance requirements in a professional setting. This course extends the student's exposure to a variety of dance styles, enhances their technical and creative capacities, and nurtures their development as a performing artist.
