This course prepares students for their work placement and their eventual careers. The course will help students to identify appropriate placement opportunities based on their interests. Emphasis will be placed on the development of generic employability skills of particular importance to employment in the advertising and media management field. This course is an in-depth examination of the various organizational structures of companies involved in the marketing and media industry in Canada: media suppliers, advertising agencies and marketing companies.
