The media industry is changing constantly and today's media professional must stay ahead of emerging trends. Students will be assigned to a small group and will prepare a presentation addressing a topic under the broad umbrella of media, its importance to Canada over the next decade and its effect on the advertising industry. In the process, students will experience and learn small group dynamics. Guest speakers from the advertising and media industry will provide insight into the media industry. Students will be provided with real-life case study problems and submit their ideas for appropriate solutions.
