This course prepares students to work in various environments with teams of professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Students acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes to work and communicate collaboratively with others in order to provide and enhance clinical and educational services to client groups. Students practice facilitating interprofessional teams and develop ways to enhance interprofessional practice within Behavioural Science and other professional areas. Students investigate and become familiar with professional roles and issues of interprofessional practice and high performing teams. Students identify and contribute to, professional community groups and organizations that seek to advance and advocate for interprofessional practice.
