In this course students are introduced to the Canadian healthcare system and its key regulated and non-regulated health care professionals. Students will learn the roles and scope of practice of these professionals in protecting and promoting health as well as preventing injury and disease. Additionally, students begin to uncover the importance of interprofessional practice in providing and sustaining health and wellness.
