Students will explore and analyze interprofessional collaboration as an approach that supports effective health and wellness professional practice. Key components of interprofessional practice will be investigated and applied to the delivery of effective health and wellness programs. Students will distinguish and discriminate collaborative principles required to formulate, implement and evaluate desired outcomes. By appraising the multifactorial nature of interprofessional education, interprofessional collaboration and leadership, students will establish the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to facilitate optimal behaviour change to best meet health promotion needs.
