This course, together with Organic Chemistry, builds upon the practical skills acquired in Chemical Techniques Laboratory 1. Students engage in practical exercises focused on synthetic organic chemistry. Students acquire the fundamental skillset required to perform complex separations and purifications, carryout synthetic organic reactions, and characterize molecular structure using spectroscopic techniques such as H1NMR and IR spectroscopy.
