e-Commerce

Course Code: BISM 202

Academic Year: 2021-2022

In this course, students will examine the essentials of electronic commerce: how it is being conducted and managed as well as assessing its major opportunities, limitations, issues and risks. Students will also explore the effect that e-commerce is presently having on the re-engineering of business processes, both at the front end (marketing and customer service) and the back office (operations and supply chain). Please note that students who choose to take an online section of this course must write the final exam in person, at either the Humber North or Lakeshore campus, or, if located more than 100km from the campus, through an approved proctoring facility. Any costs associated with this are the sole responsibility of the student.
