Technology has transformed our lives in the last decade, and strong computer skills have become crucial to finding employment in management and administration. This course provides students with resources and guidance to develop skills in Office applications, focusing on the following key areas: File Management, Academic Integrity, Windows 10/11, Word/Creating Professional Documents, PowerPoint/Professional Presentations and Microsoft Excel. While learning about Office 365 and office applications, students will develop skills in self-discipline, time management and detail orientation. This course is a self-taught, performance progressive course where students access and master the materials through use of Open Educational Resources. These training materials consist of Text, Videos, hands on practice exercises, and follow along demonstrations, allowing students to utilize a variety of devices to complete their studies. All communication and course related assistance will be provided through the learning management system Blackboard. In this course, students are required to complete the course materials in sequential order unlocking assignments and modules progressively throughout the course.
