This course will provide the skills necessary to develop and implement a financial plan including forecasting, cash flow and cash management, and the development of a basic income statement and balance sheet. It will provide practical information on how to create, monitor and analyze financial information and use it to assess organizational success. It will also prepare students to deal with financial institutions, venture capitalists, angel investors, small business grants, crowd funding andother funding opportunities. Students will develop a rudimentary financial plan for their new enterprise.
