In this course, students will examine a number of theories pertaining to leadership as well as describe and evaluate specific leadership styles. The course begins by having students assess their own leadership capacity, and then asks them to apply this understanding to the broader theories and concepts of leadership. Through guest lecturers and case studies, students will appreciate and analyze different perspectives on how leadership is evolving in a variety of large, small, private, not-for-profit and public organizations within Canada and internationally.
