This course is a studio workshop that gives students an opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills they have learned to date. Students are expected to function in a dynamic environment that replicates the demands and expectations of the advertising industry. Working in teams with students from other programs, students use the Advertising Studio courses to begin the process of building a deliverable to further their career (e.g. portfolio, web presence) of their work to professional standards. As well students learn how the industry functions through the three major areas of account management, copywriting and art direction.
