The course covers arithmetic and convergence of sequences and series; commonly used tests for convergence of series; power series representations of functions; Taylor and Maclaurin series; first- and higher-order partial derivatives; directional derivatives; gradients; definition of differentiability; rules for differentiation such as the Chain Rule; tangent planes and linear approximations; critical points and the Second Derivative Test for finding extrema; double integrals in rectangular and polar coordinates; triple integrals in rectangular, cylindrical, and spherical coordinates; vector fields; conservative vector fields; line integrals of scalar-valued functions and vector fields over parametrized curves; surface integrals of scalar-valued functions and vector fields over parametrized surfaces; and an introduction to Green's Theorem, Stokes' Theorem, and the Divergence Theorem.
