Course Code: CETI 351
Academic Year: 2025-2026
This course examines the theory and practice of project control of construction projects, focusing on cost and schedule monitoring and control techniques to minimize cost overruns and schedule slippages. Stratagies to mitigate indirect costs such as dewatering and temporary heating will be reviewed to consider the cost impacts that arise from the typical challenges found in our region. Students explore the key processes of the cost control cycle, including budget baselines, progress measurement, variance calculations and correction action.
