The various stages of clinical research as they relate to planning, organizing, executing and monitoring clinical trials are examined in this course. The progress and milestones of a study will be explored from the perspective of the Clinical Research Associate (monitor), as well as the Sponsor, Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinator. Learners also explore the management and organization of site monitoring, including quality control measures to ensure the collection of adequate and acceptable data, while maintaining the safety of the study participants.
