This course will provide an introduction to the biostatistical and data management concepts as well as methods required in the development of a clinical trial and subsequently the management, analysis and interpretation of data generated from the clinical trials. The overall objective of the course is to familiarize the students with the process of how data is identified, collected and analyzed in order to answer a study question and/or validate or reject a research hypothesis. At the end of this course you will be able to develop a data management plan, and be familiar with common statistical analyses and interpretations as written in protocols and manuscripts.
