This intermediate course in cosmetic application is designed for students to further develop their expertise in specialized makeup artistry. Building on foundational corrective techniques, students will explore the application of cosmetics for mature skin, formal and special events, stage performance (with an emphasis on Broadway-style theatre), and fantasy cosmetic design. Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, students will refine their ability to adapt cosmetic application strategies to a variety of facial structures, lighting conditions, and character requirements. Emphasis will be placed on creativity, precision, and professional standards across diverse cosmetic contexts. Students will document and analyze their work using professional face charts, supporting detailed planning, critique, and artistic development.
