In this course, students will deepen their understanding of skin care products by building on their foundational knowledge of cosmetic formulations, skin science, and cosmetic regulations acquired in previous semesters. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge of hair and nail appendages, including their structure, function, and common issues. The course focuses on analyzing various skin types and recommending appropriate skin care regimens tailored to individual needs. Additionally, they will learn essential sanitation and disinfection practices to ensure the safe application of cosmetics and skin care products. They will learn about hygiene standards, proper handling of tools and products, and protocols to prevent contamination and infection.
