In this course, students will learn the underlying principles of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design and how to apply them when developing websites and/or mobile applications. They will be introduced to some basic design principles and practices that contribute to creating an optimal user experience such as Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Content Design, wireframing, prototyping, common design patterns, visual design, and related techniques and tools. Through interactive lessons, class activities and projects, students will acquire the foundation of core skills required to develop user interfaces that are user-cantered and optimized for best user experience.
