Expanding on the introductory course, a second course is added to focus in more detail on the programming side of Big Data and advanced tools used to analyse big data. In this course, students learn various approaches to querying and processing big data using tools like Hive, Pig, Spark SQL and Impala. This course also will introduce the students to additional tools like Zookeeper and Sqoop. Use cases could be used to demonstrate how the components work together.
