This course offers students frameworks for identifying and leveraging the media opportunities of new technologies. Giving students a theoretical grounding along with practical opportunities to experiment with emerging tech, the focus of the class follows new developments in technology. Possible topics include automation for communicators, immersive media, drones, self-driving vehicles, wearable media, smart home technologies, and theories of technological adoption.
