This course helps students build oral English-language competencies and study skills, as applied to academic contexts, at the low-advanced level (Common European Framework of Reference for Language B1-B2). Classroom time will be used for most elements of the course including individual, pair and group work, during lectures, presentations, research tasks and quizzes. Vocabulary and pronunciation practice will be another frequent element of the class. Note: Placement into a level of the program is done through test scores. Progression to the next level requires successful completion of the previous level.
