This course will examine chemistry of the environment as it applies to soil, air and water. The geochemical/geological cycles of environmental contaminants such as lead, cadmium, mercury and others will be examined as well as the impact on the atmosphere and water. The appropriate Federal, Provincial and Municipal environmental legislation will be referenced as applicable.
