This course addresses the principles of project management in the context of environmental and construction projects. Learners will explore the construction industry best practices and local regulatory framework, and the methodology of managing projects as recommended by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Students learn construction project environment, advances in construction, regulatory framework and key issues of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing of a construction project.
