This course introduces and refines the statistical methods used in many types of financial analysis, which will also be used in further courses. Building blocks of the time value of money and various statistics and probability theories are used to build the foundation that applies to various concepts in practice. Topics covered also include hypothesis testing, sample selection, confidence intervals, and technical analysis.
